I'll try to help but you need to be more specific when you say it doesn't
work. What does happen? Remember that flare intensity and light
intensity have seperate envelopes so make sure your setting the right one
or both. Also you probably want the keyframe at 119 set to linear
interpolation in spline settings.
So:
keyframe 0: light intensity 0
flare intensity 0
keyframe 119: light intensity 0
flare intensity 0
linear interpolation
keyframe 120: light intensity <whatever>
flare intensity <whatever>
smooth interpolation
